The Marlin SBL Model 1894 with 16" stainless steel threaded barrel chambered in 44Mag/44Spl is a premium quality lever action hunting rifle with an optic ready picatinny rail. The Model 1894 features a beautiful grey laminate stock with exceptionally detailed checkering on the fore-end and grip. In addition to the barrel, the receiver, lever and trigger guard plate are all CNC machined from 416 stainless steel forgings. Improved manufacturing processes create tight tolerances for greater reliability. An oversized lever loop provides clearance for operation with heavy gloves. The Model 1894 uses a fiber optic front sight with a tritium ring to provide improved visibility and fast target acquisition in low light conditions while a picatinny rail provides a solid mount for your choice of optics. For maximum versatility, a tubular magazine with a loading gate on the receiver accepts 8 rounds of .44 Rem Mag or 9 rounds of .44 Special ammunition.
